at 12 midnight, had a pleasant surprise frm carmen and hs who turned up at my hse, desperately trying to light up a small chocolate fondue cake. they stayed over and because my niece turned up unexpectedly too, 4 of us squeezed in my rm. it was a nice catch-up, despite the tiredness, sweet girls who took great pains to plan the surprise and get the presents. breakfast of roti prata at geylang serai in the morn, nt befr aloysius turned up at my doorstep with the stitch puzzle:) one surprise aft another, love u ppl.
walked ard cityhall with aloysius befr hunger set in and headed to chijmes, irish pub, fr sherpard's pie and fish and chips. then 2 bottles of peach barcardi breezers and choc biscuits by the esplanade. haha, i gulped it all dwn. went hm dead tired bt way beyond contented.
today, aft service. celebrated with the cell grp at zion hawker centre with the extremely melted sweet secrets mousse cake.

eighteen:) bliss.
it was the best yet, not because i can get my driving license or drink alcohol or go clubbing legally. neither was it because of the presents, although i loved 'em all, but its the effort put in by those close to heart that made this bday so wonderful.

10/06 girls and zhiwei, weiming, chengliang fr that little bday celebration at the marquee on friday, esp rabecca, fr rushing to buy the cake and balloon aft sch plus the postcard and friendster testimonial:) carmen and huishuang fr the midnight surprise and stayover and extremely pretty cards. u girls rly pulled it off, i didnt suspect, nearly 12 hrs spent with u all, the sweetest babes, bestest frens ever:) in addition, thks to 'em and audrey, sally fr the nice presents, i used all of it alr:) siwei, peiling and rab who met me at cityhall although it was only an hr thks to who huh who, anw super duper appreciated:) mum and dad fr the money to spend, and im unbelievable my mum was actually in cahoots with carmen. aloysius fr the lovely puzzle, the rest of the presents and the card u took effort to draw on, most of all, the fantastic evening<3 cell group fr the little celebration at zion and the stitch mug. bro and elaine fr the nicely wrapped-up puma handbag which i didnt expect. im awfully guilty of not even wishing him last yr.

friday was memorable. the girls gt a cake and a helium balloon fr me, so the few of us, 10/06 ppl, celebrated at the marquee. my balloon flew off, hit the fan, didnt burst but gt stuck at the pipe thingys on the ceiling. fortunately chengliang eventually gt it off, haha, aft all 3 guys took turns trying, even yimin and rab. junyu who passed by offered to get a ladder, while i stood thr shaking with laughter. then it was tuition with my tutee.
met siwei, peiling and rab more than an hr aft the designated meeting time. TSK. haha. and only fr an hr. but nevertheless thankful fr the company.

it jst happened i had 3 choc cakes altogether in 3 days so i made 3 different wishes. haha. only thing missing was celebrating with family. but gosh, even without that, i was the happiest person on 3rd feb 2007:P
